Crimson Moon: How did the band get started?
Max: It began as a “solo” project in which he had taken a “EP” in 2011,finally in 2013 was transformed into band.
Bruce: In a beginning the band get started only by max. he was playing every instrument.
Crimson Moon: What kind of music do you play?
Max: We like all kinds of music, from alternative rock to death metal, we have our own definition of music, we can only say that it is metal.
Bruce: We don’t know exactly, because we have many influences en our songs. We just call it “Melodic Metal”.
Crimson Moon: How has the band response been?
Bruce: Up to this date, we have had only 3 live shows and we have had a very good response from people. From “old school metal heads” till people who rarely listen to “Metal”.
Crimson Moon: Where did the band name come from?
Max: Vaineloth is a mixture of words, can be interpreted as “vain and incapable” or also “useless and unwilling“.

Crimson Moon: Who writes the music? Lyrics?
Max: Mainly, I write the songs with ideas from every member of the band.
Crimson Moon: And where do the lyric ideas come from?
Max: The lyrics speak of emotions and reflections.
Crimson Moon: How many albums/CD’s have you released?
Bruce: We have one album called “Anusix”, but it was recorded with old members and virtual drums.
Crimson Moon: Tell me about some the songs on the latest CD?
Max: Some of the songs including the title track, were under the influence of “demian” this refers the first song “break” where it says “Whoever wants to be born, must first destroy a world.” From that disc which seeks delivery messages of the book develops.
Crimson Moon: Do you have any side projects?
Bruce: No, we have not.
Crimson Moon: Who are some of your musical influences?
Bruce: If you you watch our live show, you will notice many influences like: Nu Metal, Death Metal, Metalcore, Doom Metal, Black Metal.
Crimson Moon: Which current bands?
Band: We love bands like Slipknot, Korn, Intervals, Burzum, The Gathering, him, Quo Vadis, Type O negative.
Crimson Moon: What is the band like when you play live?
Max: Nutritious..
Bruce: Overwhelming!
Crimson Moon: What was the best band you played with?
Bruce: Definitely this band, Vaineloth.
Crimson Moon: Have you guys ever played in another country?
Band: No.
Crimson Moon: How big of crowd shows up at shows usually?
Bruce: 50 people, because we play en “Pubs” where is hard to have a place to play.
Crimson Moon: How is the crowd response when you play?
Bruce: Awesome! They scream and enjoy every song.
Crimson Moon: What is the scene like over in your country?
Max: We can not expect much support from the media, the metal is not very received.
Crimson Moon: What made you want to be in this band? And if you weren’t in this band what would you being doing now?
Max: Vaineloth is a whole, and just being born, if not this Vaineloth, would be taking some table obviously a restaurant.
Crimson Moon: What does the future hold for the band??
Max: As a band we have many goals to achieve and a long way to achieve our purposes.
Bruce: We want to leave this country. Every musician in Chile knows that this country doesn’t support music if is not commercial or “disposable music” how we call it.
