Crimson Moon: How did the band get started?
Theo Nt: Through a lot of psychological pain. Haha! John Densmore once said that bands are
like relationships but without the sex. There’s no band really. It’s me trying to find
some guys with at least some short term expectations.
Crimson Moon: What kind of music do you play?
Theo Nt: Mostly Rock in the style of Grunge and Singer-Songwriter. I have songs that are
more Jazzy or Instrumentals as well.
Crimson Moon: How has the fan response been?
Theo Nt: Usually good, it’s impossible to say that you have a wide audience to support you
though, so usually it’s just people you know. They can’t be sincere to you from my
point of you!
Crimson Moon: Where did the band name come from?
Theo Nt: From my name.
Crimson Moon: How many albums/CD's have you released?
Theo Nt: One and a couple of singles. The sophomore one comes next year (hopefully!).
Crimson Moon: Who writes the music? Lyrics?
Theo Nt: It’s me on everything. Sound and words. It’s nice to be free and do whatever you long with compromises.
Crimson Moon: And where do the lyric ideas come from?
Theo Nt: From life, poetry and magic.
Crimson Moon: Has the Covid Pandemic impacted the band at all?
Theo Nt: Yes like everybody on the planet has many difficulties from the covid situation. Hopefully, we’ll wake up and see what’s going on here…
Crimson Moon: What is the music scene like where you guys are from?
Theo Nt: It mostly sucks!
Crimson Moon: Who are some of your musical influences?
Theo Nt: Frank Sinatra, Jeff Buckley, Chris Cornell, Jim Morrison, Freddie Mercury, Whitney Houston, George Michael, Scott Weiland, Richard Ashcroft, Kurt Cobain.
Crimson Moon: Do you do anything special warm-ups you do before you play live?
Theo Nt: I do some vocal warm up exercises and have some warm water with lemon if possible.
Crimson Moon: As a musician what advice can you give to fellow musicians just starting out?
Theo Nt: Be true and don’t take any BS from others.
Crimson Moon: What does the future hold for the band?
Theo Nt: Create as much meaningful music as possible.
