Crimson Moon: How did the band get started?
Sean: My brother and I got our first instruments when we were 14 years old and we’ve been playing ever since.
Crimson Moon: What kind of music do you play?
Sean: We play hard rock.
Crimson Moon: How has the fan response been?
John: It’s been really good! Each show gets bigger and better as more people are finding out about us!
Crimson Moon: Where did the band name come from?
John: It’s actually our last name. We thought it would be a unique name for our band!

Crimson Moon: How many albums/CD’s have you released?
Sean: We have one EP, which we released in 2020.
Crimson Moon: Tell me about some of the songs on the latest CD?
John: Our self titled debut EP contains 3 songs. The first track, Never Enough Time, was the very first song my brother and I ever wrote together. We started writing it when we found out our grandmother was battling cancer and only had a few months to live. There’s definitely a lot of meaning and emotion behind it. The second track, Crazy Life, is just a fun, hard rock song describing the rock n roll lifestyle. The third track, Ways to Get High, is one of our favorite songs, a cover from Pop Evil. They are a big inspiration on us, so we wanted to include it on our EP.
Crimson Moon: Who writes the music? Lyrics?
Sean: My brother and I write all the music and lyrics.
Crimson Moon: And where do the lyric ideas come from?
John: We get our ideas from the things that happen in our lives. When something is going on or if we are affected by something we like to write our ideas down and make a song out of it.
Crimson Moon: Has the Covid Pandemic impacted the band at all?
John: When COVID first hit, live shows started to slow down a bit, but that ultimately gave us more time to start working on new music.
Crimson Moon: Do you have any side projects?
Sean: No side projects, we are fully committed to our band.
Crimson Moon: What is the music scene like where you guys are from?
John: The rock scene is pretty good down here in Tampa. There are a lot of venues that support rock music. The fans are great as well!
Crimson Moon: Who are some of your musical influences?
Sean: Bands like Aerosmith, Motley Crue, and Night Ranger, to newer bands such as Chevelle, Pierce The Veil, and Neck Deep. We get a lot of influence from the 80’s hair bands, as that’s one of our favorite types of music.
Crimson Moon: What is the band like when you play live?
Sean: We are a high energy band who just like to have fun and put on a good show, while delivering the music of course.
Crimson Moon: Have you guys ever played in another country?
John: We have never played in another country, but would love to soon!
Crimson Moon: How has the fan response been to the band?
John: The response has been great actually. When we released our debut EP, we received a lot of love and support from everyone.
Crimson Moon: What made you want to be in this band?
Sean: It all started when my brother and I rode the Aerosmith ride at Disney World, when we were little kids. Right then and there, we knew that we wanted to start a band and do this for the rest of our lives. Aerosmith started it all for us and continues to inspire us to this day. To us, they are the best band ever and the true definition of rock and roll.
Crimson Moon: If you weren’t in this band would you still be involved in the music industry?
John: We would definitely be in the music industry in some shape or form as music is our passion. I don’t think any of us can see ourselves doing anything else.
Crimson Moon: As a musician what advice can you give to fellow musician just starting out?
John: Stay focused! If you want to do this for the rest of your life, master your instrument and never give up!
Crimson Moon: What does the future hold for the band?
Sean: We have some new music we are looking forward to releasing in the next few months. We also have some bigger shows planned for 2022. Make sure to follow our socials to stay up to date with the band!
