Crimson Moon: How did the band get started?

Kerry: I auditioned for the band and joined in 2005. The band was playing without a singer for 2 years prior to that.

 

 

Crimson Moon: What kind of music do you play?

Kerry: We often get labeled as a “stonerrock band” but I think we are just a good old fashioned hard rock band.

 

 

Crimson Moon: How has the fan response been?

Kerry: We have been pretty fortunate to be able to build our fan base with each release.

 

 

Crimson Moon: Where did the band name come from?

Kerry: We are all from Long Island NY.

 

 

Crimson Moon: Introduce the band members and what they do in the band.

Kerry: Vocals

Christian: Drums

Jhey: Guitars

Harry: Bass

 

 

Crimson Moon: How many albums/CD’s have you released?

Kerry: We have a demo 1 full length a E.P. and have been featured on 3 compilations. Our first full length is called Sic Semper Tyrannis our newest E.P. is entitled Useless Lucy and we the three compilations are called Trilateral Commission, Fumes From The Underground, and 118.

 

 

Crimson Moon: Tell me about some the songs on the latest CD?

Kerry: The newest E.P. is the first time we discussed what we wanted to do, began writing songs and followed all the way through with our concept. The songs are a lot more thought out than our previous releases.

 

 

Crimson Moon: Do you have any side projects?

Kerry: Yes I am in a punk/harcore/metal band called The Great Lie.

 

 

Crimson Moon: Who are some of your musical influences?

Kerry: Some of my biggest influences would be David Bazan, Sonic Youth, Ween, Soundgarden.

 

 

Crimson Moon: Which current bands?

Kerry: I love the new Free Man record.

 

 

Crimson Moon: What is the band like when you play live?

Kerry: We are pretty intense.

 

 

Crimson Moon: Have you guys ever played in another country?

Kerry: No.

 

 

Crimson Moon: How big of crowd shows up at shows usually?

Kerry: Usually 50 +.

 

 

Crimson Moon: How is the crowd response when you play?

Kerry: People seem to dig us, they come back for more.

 

 

Crimson Moon: What do you think of the US Black Metal/Death Metal scene?

Kerry: Seem to be flourishing right now.

 

 

Crimson Moon: What do you think of the Overseas scenes?

Kerry: Haven’t played overseas to find out.

 

 

Crimson Moon: When do you guys plan on writing any new material?

Kerry: Yes.

 

 

Crimson Moon: What does the future hold for the band??

Kerry: Only time will tell.
