War Honey Bio

War Honey is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York who write sad songs with lots of reverb. The band released their first demo in early 2020 and began gigging around the New York City area soon after. War Honey’s shows came to a grinding half at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, which caused the band to focus on recording for the bulk of 2020. They released their second demo, “Racehorse”, in April of that year. “Racehorse” received radio airplay, positive press, and tens of thousands of streams, successes that were all matched by War Honey’s following EP “Shard To Shatter”. “Shard To Shatter” was recorded in quarantine, was mixed and mastered by Jalipaz Nelos (AJJ, Okily Dokily, Red Tank!), and was released in December of 2020. The band followed the momentum of the EP with the single “Skinless” in February 2021, and returning to live shows now that all band members are vaccinated.
