Formed in 2014, Boston’s Thirty Silver combine searing guitars, thunderous drums, and a strong DIY ethic to forge their own strain of grungy indie rock. Mixing equal parts Motorhead and Mudhoney with a dash of Zeppelin and T. Rex, the Massachusetts duo of Drew Smith (guitar/vocals) and Joe Z (drums) strives to live independently, booking their own shows and even forming their own record label in order to get their music out to the world without compromise.
Thirty Silver has toured across the US, bringing their blistering guitar rock to places far from home, delivering high energy, high intensity performances for every crowd in every venue, every time. Since their inception, Thirty Silver has independently released two full-length albums, will deliver the first EP, “Lost Saints” off their newly formed Tux Cat Records in January 2016, and recently signed to Bad Taco Records for the release of their next LP.
